GET STARTED WITH PLAYTOMIC
Whether you're a seasoned athlete or have never picked up a racket before, padel is the perfect sport for everyone. Here at GSM, we believe Padel is easy to learn, fun to play, and incredibly social. Padel combines the best elements of tennis and squash in a fast paced yet beginner friendly game.
Our club hosts regular events for all skill levels from relaxed social matches to friendly tournaments designed to bring people together on and off the court. Come along, meet new players, and experience the joy of padel in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
No experience? No problem. Just bring your enthusiasm, we’ll provide the rest!
GET INVOLVED
INTRODUCTION TO PADEL
TUESDAY 10:00AM - 11:30AM
New to padel? Perfect. Our Introduction to Padel social is all about having a laugh, meeting fellow newbies, and figuring out which end of the racket to hold. No judgement, just good vibes.
We’ll mix in some light coaching, easy games, and plenty of chances to shout “sorry!” after missing the ball entirely. It’s fun and friendly, so come as you are, we’ll take care of the rest (yes, even the rules).

BEGINNERS’ SOCIAL
TUESDAY 1:00PM - 2:30PM
Had a couple of matches and know which end of the racket to hold? Perfect. The Beginners' Social is your chance to put your “just about there” skills to the test. It’s less about winning points and more about improving your game with fellow new starters.
No egos, no judgment, just a whole lot of laughs, good vibes, and a ball or two that actually goes over the net. Come for the social, stay for the "did I just do that?" moments.

SENIORS’ SOCIAL (50+)
MONDAY: 10:00AM - 11:00AM
Think padel is just for the young and restless? Think again. Our Seniors’ Social is where wisdom meets wicked backhands.
Whether you're here to show the youngsters how it's really done or fancy yourself a fun, low-pressure 60 minutes, followed by a well-earned coffee, this is your court. No neon trainers or TikTok dances required, just good company, great rallies, and the occasional cheeky drop shot.

LADIES’ SOCIAL

Grab your trainers and your best game face (or just your best gossip), the Ladies’ Social is your weekly chance to hit the court, make some new friends, and enjoy the great game.
It’s relaxed, fun, and strictly no pressure unless we’re talking about applying it at the net. Whether you're here for the rallies, the laughs, or the free post-match coffee catch-up, this one’s for you.
All levels welcome. Sass encouraged.

Don’t talk to me before I’ve had my morning coffee? Fine, but do play me in a high-energy doubles match. Then we’ll talk.
In Americano, you’ll switch teammates after every fast-paced, high-energy match. Score points as you go, and by the end, once everyone’s played, the top scorer gets eternal glory (or at least bragging rights).
Oh, and the best part? Free Americano. The coffee kind. Or whatever caffeine keeps your game sharp.

AMERICANO SOCIALS
DATES AVAILABLE UNDER “COMPETE” ON PLAYTOMIC
Welcome to our Americano Padel Socials. In Americano, you’ll switch teammates after every fast-paced, high-energy match. Score points as you go, and by the end, once everyone’s played with/against each other, the top scorer gets the bragging rights.
Each session is tailored to specific Playtomic score ranges, so whether you’re more “pro in the making” or “I just like the outfits”, you’ll be matched with players at your level. Expect short matches, rotating partners, and a whole lot of friendly competition.
Different day, different level. Same goal: have fun, hit balls and maybe win (or at least look cool trying).

FAST-4
FAST-4
FAST-4 TOURNAMENT
FRIDAY: 7:00PM ONCE A MONTH (BOOKINGS OPEN THREE WEEKS IN ADVANCE)
Our Fast-4 Tournament is made for players who like their padel fast, fierce, and competitive.
The tournament is a knockout structure, with the winning team advancing through each round en route to the final. Matches are played as best of two short sets (first to four games) with a tie break played at three games all. It’s your chance to prove you can bring the heat and show you’ve got what it takes to be champions of Congleton. The tournament winners can choose between a free court slot for four players or a free branded shirt for each team member and, of course, the status of GSM Royalty in the form of the glorious Fast-4 Trophy.
At the end of the tournament, for those who are partial to a crisp pint or a glass of prosecco, the on-site bar will remain open until closing.
*Entry into the Fast-4 Tournament guarantees each player two matches minimum. If you are eliminated in the first round, you will still be scheduled for a second match. Date and time will be announced three weeks before planned tournament. Date and time subject to change.
